Tips to Elk Grove Police Department's Street Crime units led to the arrest of two suspects Friday afternoon on drug and firearms charges.
After receiving the tips, detectives from the Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant on a residence on the 5100 block of Felicia Way. The detective's search led to the discovery of two digital scales, packaging materials, four handguns, marijuana and methamphetamine.
Arrested were 22-year old Salvador Francisco of Elk Grove and 23-year old Joel Trumbo of Elk Grove who was on parole.
