An Elk Grove lady arrested on suspicion of shoplifting got a little more than she was shopping for yesterday afternoon.
According to Elk Grove Police, 34-year old Amylisa Dumlao was detained by store personael at the Bruceville Road Kohl's for shoplifting. A record check revealed the suspect has an active warrant for her arrest.
A search of the suspect's purse led to the discovery of narcotics and narcotic paraphernalia. Dumalo was arrested and taken to the county jail where she remains in custody on $30,000 bail.

Things are getting worse. There was an armed robbery right in front of the front door of Kohl's (Bruceville & Elk Grove Blvd) yesterday (1/28/2013) at 12 NOON! A woman was confronted by armed robbers and told to get in their car. She jumped out when they drove off!
What is the EG PD doing about this? Should be being pushing to disband the PD and go back to the Sheriff's office?
