A Galt resident was arrested after he alleged was drunk driving and fled an accident.
On Friday night 26-year old Sean Fortney was operating a vehicle that was involved in a collision with another vehicle near East Stockton Boulevard and Hampton Oaks Drive. Fortney did not stop to exchange information with the other driver.
Responding officers located Fortney driving south on East Stockton Boulevard and conducted a vehicle stop. Upon contact, the suspect displayed objective signs of impairment, performed poorly on field sobriety tests and arrested.
