An Elk Grove man in being held at the Sacramento County Jail after violating his probation.
On Thursday afternoon Elk Grove Police officers contacted 52-year old Joey Bucago Cayabyab during a call for service in the 9100 block of Generations Drive. A records search revealed that Cayabyab was on probation.
A subsequent probation search allegedly led to the discovery of a controlled substance and Cayabyab was taken into custody. Cayabyab is being held on a $110,000 bail for violating his probation and possession of a sale controlled non-narcotic substance. The suspect will be arraigned Tuesday afternoon.
