Elk Grove Juvenile Arrested for Assault, Corporal Punishment

An Elk Grove juvenile was taken into custody on multiple charges following an apparent domestic violence incident that occurred last night.

According to Elk Grove Police, the 16-year old male suspect was involved in a verbal argument with his victim that escalated into a physical altercation. During the altercation the suspect threw the victim to the ground then choked and punched his victim in the nose and chest.

The suspect also also took the victims cell phone and threatened  the victim. The attack resulted in visible injuries.

The suspect was located later, was taken into custody and booked into juvenile hall. He is being charged with corporal punishment to someone who he had a relationship with, assault and robbery.
