Chain-Wielding Suspect Arrested in Elk Grove Domestic Violence Incident

An Elk Grove man was arrested Tuesday afternoon after he was accused of wielding a chain during a domestic violence incident.

According to Elk Grove Police, 21-year old Travis Young was involved in an argument that escalated into a physical altercation. During the altercation, Young allegedly struck the windshield of the victim's vehicle several times with a metal chain while the victim was inside the vehicle. 

Young was also holding a small child throughout the incident. Young was arrested and booked into the county jail where he remains in custody on a $50,000 bail and is charged with felony child endangerment and assault with a deadly weapon.
