Would-Be Elk Grove Bank Robbery Foiled After Teller Ignores Demands


A would-be robber left an Elk Grove bank yesterday empty-handed.


According to Elk Grove Police, an unknown suspect entered the Bank of America branch on Elk Grove Boulevard in Old Town Elk Grove and presented a note to a teller demanding cash. The teller did not respond to the suspect who then left the bank.

The suspect was last seen walking westbound on Elk Grove Boulevard. The suspect was described as an Asian male, 30's, wearing dark sunglasses, a black shirt with black pants.

No one was injured and there was nothing taken.
