Elk Grove Police are investigating a Friday-night drive-by shooting.
According to police reports, an unknown person discharged a firearm at 9 p.m. on the 9100 block of Acorn Ridge Circle. The rounds were possibly aimed a another person.
After firing the shots, the unknown suspect fled in a dark colored Honda Accord. As the vehicle fled, it struck an unoccupied van.
Evidence was recovered at the scene and the suspect was not located.
