Elk Grove Probationer Arrested After Reportedly Suspicious Behavior, Resisting Arrest

An Elk Grove man who is on probation was arrested yesterday morning after resisting arrest for narcotics possession.


According to Elk Grove Police, officers contacted 21-year old Corey Lahn near Sheldon Road and Springhurst Drive after receiving a call regarding suspicion activity. A records check revealed the suspect was on probation and a search led to the discovery of narcotics.

When the narcotics were discovered, Lahn tired to pull away from the officers and physically resisted the officers attempts to take him into custody. The suspect was physically restrained by officers and after he continued to resist the officers and was placed in a full body restraint system.

Lahn was taken to the county jail where he remains in custody.
