Thanks to an eyewitness report, Elk Grove Police were able to arrest two Elk Grove men after the were observed burglarizing a house.
According to police reports, officers responded to the 6000 block of Rimini Court after receiving reports of a residential burglary. A witness provided the description of the two suspects and the car they were driving.
Responding officers located the described vehicle and conducted a vehicle stop.
The occupants, 18-year old Shaqelle McCall and a 17-year old male juvenile were detained and property stolen from the residence was located. The juvenile suspect was taken into custody then transported to juvenile hall and McCall was arrested and taken to the county jail where he remains in custody on $50,000 bail.
