A Sacramento man was arrested early Friday morning after stealing recyclables and leading officers on a vehicle pursuit.
According to police reports, officers were dispatched the the 5400 block of Jade Cree Way after reports of a prowler who was obsrved in a backyard. Officers spotted a vehicle associated with the prowler with an open trunk full of large bags of recyclables leaving the area.
When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver led the police on a 6.7 mile pursuit that ended near Sheldon Road and Highway 66. The suspect, 25-year old Bruno Macedo was arrested and taken to the county jail where he remains in custody on $60,000 bail.
