A Sacramento mother was arrested last night after she was suspected of shoplifting.
According to Elk Grove Police, loss prevention personnel at the Target store on Laguna Blvd observed 28-year old Laurel Vest shoplifting merchandise. The suspect had her two children, ages 3 and 8, with her when she was detained.
A responding officer arrested Vest and taken to the county jail. The children were transported home.
