Elk Grove Pizzeria Robbed by Armed Gunman

Second pizzeria recently robbed

An Elk Grove pizzeria was robbed at gunpoint late last night.

According to Elk Grove Police, an unknown man entered the New York Pizza located on Elk Grove-Florin Road and confronted an employee with a handgun. The robber demanded the employee to remove the cash drawer from the register.

Fearing for their safety, the employe obliged and the robber took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store. The suspect was described as a while adult male, 20-25 years of age, 5’9”, 165 lbs, wearing a black ski mask with a black hooded sweatshirt and was armed with a silver handgun.

In late August the Pizza Hut store on Bruceville Road was robbed by two unknown suspects as the business was closing. There have been no arrest made in that robbery were the suspects discharged their firearm.
