Gunshots Fired at Elk Grove Pizzeria Robbery

An Elk Grove pizzeria was robbed at gunpoint last night.

According to Elk Grove Police reports, two unknown suspects entered the rear door of the Pizza Hut located at 9015 Bruceville Road with one suspect armed with a handgun. The armed gunman fired one round into the ceiling and ordered the employees to get on the ground.

The suspects removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the cash register and exited via the back door. No employee was physically hurt during the robbery.

The armed suspect was described as a male adult, 6`0" tall, 180 pounds, wearing a white hoodie, black ski mask and black gloves. The second suspect was described as a male adult, 5`10" tall, 180 pounds, wearing a dark hoodie, a black ski mask, and black gloves.

Responding officers were unable to locate the suspects.
