An Elk Grove couple was robbed and attacked early Sunday morning as they were using an outdoor movie rental box.
According to police reports, the man and women were at the video box at the Target shopping center on Laguna Blvd. when a gold Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck with four Hispanic males pulled up. Two of the suspects exited the vehicle and approached the victims when the male victim was punched in face and suspects demanded property.
After punching the male victim, the suspects them pushed the female suspect and demanded her purse. Fearing for her safety, the victim gave the suspects her purse.
The two suspects jumped into the bed of the truck and the vehicle drove away. The first suspect was described as being skinny and was wearing a dark gray hooded jacket and the other suspect was wearing a stripped white/red shirt. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
