Sheriff’s Robbery detectives are trying to identify a man responsible for a series of robberies last month.
On June 26, three Sacramento-area GameStops were robbed within a one-hour period. The locations targeted were in the 3100 block of Arden Way, the 2800 block of Marconi Avenue and 6300 block of Garfield Avenue.
In each case, the suspect displayed a small, chrome handgun and demanded money from store employees.
The suspect (see attached surveillance photos) has been described as a black male adult between 20-25 years old, 6’1” to 6’5” tall and weighing 190-200 pounds.
He wore a dreadlock-style wig during the commission of the robberies.
Investigation has resulted in this suspect also being connected to numerous additional armed robberies at various cities in the Bay Area including El Cerrito, Pittsburg, Vallejo, Richmond and San Jose.
Those incidents date back to May 30th of this year.
