Elk Grove PD Makes Arrests For Bomb Threats, Arson and Shoplifting

Elk Grove Police made three notable arrests yesterday.


Late yesterday afternoon police arrested 36-year-old Rodel DeVenecia of Sacramento after he made threat to blow up a house on the 5200 block of Moonlight Way. The suspect was transferred to the county jail.

Elk Grove resident 26-year old Mark Grosvenor was arrested after he was suspected of shoplifting from the Target store on Laguna Blvd. He was transferred to the county jail.

Also arrested was 34-year-old Rene Madrigal who was witnessed setting a garbage can on fire. The suspect was arrested on arson charges and transferred to the county jail.
