Perhaps it was the black clothing or the burglary tools that helped identify a Sacramento man as a suspected car burglar early Saturday morning.
According to Elk Grove Police Department reports, officers observed 33-year old Cesar Rodriguez peering into a parked vehicle on the 9600 block of West Stockton Boulevard. Officers noticed the suspect was wearing all black clothing and latex gloves.
When the officers sought to contact Rodriguez, he hid in some bushes. Once officer made contact, the suspect was found to be in possession of tools used to break into vehicle. Rodriguez was arrested and transferred to the county jail.
