A teenager was arrested by police late Sunday night after providing a false identity.
According to Elk Grove Police, the 16-year-old male was detained for a vehicle code violation while riding on the handle bars of a bicycle. Upon contact the teen reportedly gave officers a false name and identified himself as someone else.
After officers obtained the suspects actual name he was taken into custody and transferred to juvenile hall.
