Busy Monday for EG Police

With activity more normally associated  with weekend, the Elk Grove Police made several arrests on Monday for alleged crimes including DUI drivers leaving accident scenes, embezzlement, domestic violence and outstanding warrants.

Police made two DUI arrest yesterday where both suspects left the scene of the accident.

In the first incident, officers arrested 35-year old Kyla Ramos on DUI charges after she allegedly struck a parked car. Responding officers located her a short distance away from the incident and arrested her.

In the second incident 40-year old suspect Robert Martinez of Elk Grove was arrested after officers responded to a call for a vehicle accident near Franklin Boulevard and Whitelock Parkway. The suspect reportedly was found standing outside his vehicle on Franklin Boulevard and Willard Parkway with a bent front driver's side tire rim and a flat tire.  

In the embezzlement case, officer's arrested 21-year old Ralph Gonzalez at the Target store located on Laguna Boulevard. One arrest was also made in a domestic violence case where the victim was struck several times in the head and two men with active warrants were arrested after a traffic stop.
