Hume's latest imbroglio involves his current "significant other," Lisa Lent, in her role as the chief of philanthropy for Sacramento's Methodist Hospital and hospital President Tim Moran's ethically shaky endorsement of Pat Hume.
Lent, the chief of philanthropy for Sacramento's Methodist Hospital, is also the former wife of prominent Elk Grove businessman Bob Lent. For those who may recall, the half-built Elk Grove Promenade was originally called the Lent Ranch Mall after the man who sold the land to bankrupt developer General Growth Properties.
Subsequent to the initial construction of the mall, in which Hume played a role in approving as both a planning commissioner and a council member, Bob and Lisa Lent were divorced. Since the time of the divorce, Hume and Lent have developed a relationship according to court documents.
In a ironic twist, the photo at this link shows the trio of the Lent's and Hume in happier times at an Elk Grove Rotary function.
