An Elk Grove man was arrested early Wednesday morning after police officers found he was in possession of a loaded gun.
According to Elk Grove Police Department reports, officers responded to a call regarding a verbal dispute on the 9200 block of Bruceville Road. Responding officers found 26-year old Toure Clark of Elk Grove in front of the location.
A search of Clark led to the discovery of a loaded firearm. Based on an interview of the person making the call, officers determined that the suspect had made credible threat to harm the caller.
Clark was arrested and transferred to the county jail.

In other activity, police arrested 26-year old Shavnil Chand of Sacramento following a disturbance at Maita Chevrolet.
According to police reports, the suspect arrived at Maita and make a disturbance. Employees escorted Chand out of the business.
When an employee attempted to call 911, Chand reportedly knocked the phone out of the employees hand. After arresting Chand, officers also discovered Chand was in possession of narcotics and paraphernalia.
