An Elk Grove man was arrested Thursday morning after he allegedly fled the scene of an accident.
According to Elk Grove Police Department reports 25-year old Sukhraj Phagura was driving his vehicle near Bruceville Road and Kilconnell Drive when he quickly changed lanes causing the driver of another vehicle to swerve and hit the curb. Phagura and the other driver stopped and became involved in a verbal argument.
Phagura then fled the scene in his vehicle and the other driver called police with the plate number. Responding officers drove to Phagura’s residence where upon contacted the suspect displaed objectives signs of impairment.
The suspect was arrested and transferred to the county jail.
