Elk Grove Man Arrested for Assaulting Mother

An Elk Grove man was placed under a citizens arrest after he was allegedly to have assaulted his mother.

According to Elk Grove Police reports 28-year old Adrian Bonilla was involved in a verbal argument with his mother that escalated into a physical altercation. Bonilla allegedly pulled his mother by the hair and then went inside the residence.

Responding officers detained the suspect who was placed under a citizens arrest. A records check revealed Bonilla has an active warrant for his arrest. The suspect was transferred to the county jail.

In other activity, police report the arrests of two suspects for narcotics possession.

According to police reports, 43-year old Kendrick Ingram of Sacramento was operating a vehicle near Franklin Boulevard and Big Horn that was stop for a code violation.

Upon contact, it was found that passenger 32-year old Dennis Carter was on a searchable parole violation. A parole search revealed narcotics. Both suspects were arrested and transferred to the county jail.
