Two Arrested After Allegedly Resisting Elk Grove Police Following Street Fight

Two suspects were arrested Wednesday afternoon following a disturbance where they allegedly resisted Elk Grove Police.

Officers were dispatched to the 9800 block of Elk Grove-Florin Road regarding a fight involving several individuals and contacted 18-year old Jeremy Southern of Sacramento. Southern allegedly started yelling at officers, took an aggressive stance and balled up his fist.

After being placed  in a control hold, officers were able to detain Southern. A 17-year old Sacramento male suspect also allegedly resisted officers before he was taken into custody.

Southern was arrested and booked into the county jail and the 17-year old was taken into custudy and transported to Juvenile Hall.
