Elk Grove Police Respond To Reports of Argument, Arrest Suspected Meth Dealer

A Fresno man was arrested yesterday afternoon on charges of being dealing meth after responding to reports of an argument.
According to Elk Grove Police, officers responded to call regarding a verbal argument taking place in the 8400 block of Elk Grove Boulevard. The caller indicated that the couple involved in the altercation had gotten into a vehicle and were driving away. 

Responding officers located the described vehicle being driven by Justin William Rooters and conducted a vehicle stop. A consent search of  Rooters' vehicle led to the discovery of a controlled substance and a records check also revealed he was driving on a suspended license. 

Rooters was arrested and booked into the county jail where he remains in custody on a $85,000 bail and is charged with transport California Health and Safety code 11379 for the sale of a methamphetamine.
