An Elk Grove man was arrested last night after he allegedly tried to pass counterfeit money.
According to Elk Grove Police, 35-year old John Laqui of Elk Grove was arrested after he tried to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at the McDonald's on the 8200 block of Laguna Boulevard. Laqui was arrested and is being held at the county jail and is ineligible for bail.
