An Elk Grove man was arrested Monday afternoon after a domestic violence incident.
According to Elk Grove Police, 22-year old Kyle Silvers was involved in an argument with his mother that escalated into an altercation. During the altercation, Silvers allegedly broke a mirror and pushed his mother to the ground resulting in a laceration to her hand.
When officers arrived, the mother placed her son under a citizens arrest. When Silvers was placed in the back of the patrol car after his arrest, he allegedly kicked-out the back window of the vehicle and injured his calf.
After treatment at an area hospital, Silvers was booked into the county jail and has been released on bail.
