A man and woman were robbed at gunpoint by three men early Sunday morning in Elk Grove.
According to Elk Grove Police, the 27-year old male and 34-year old female were standing near their vehicle on the 8400 block of Elk Grove-Florin Road when the were approached by three suspects. One of the suspects brandished a gun and ordered them to the ground.
The gunman took property from the victims while another suspect rummaged through the male victim's car and took a backpack and purse.
The suspects fled the scene in a gold Mercedes northbound on Elk Grove Florin Rd. The gunman was described as a black male adult, in his 20's, 6'2", 170 lbs., wearing a black hoodie, the second was also described as a black male adult in his, 5'5", 160 lbs. and the third black male adult in his 20's, 5'11" with a medium build.
