Elk Grove Man Arrested After Allegedly Threatening Granddaughter With Knife

An Elk Grove grandfather is is custody after he allegedly threatened his granddaughter with a knife.

According to Elk Grove Police, 62-year old  Foutong Saeteurn  grabbed a kitchen knife and brandished it on his 11-year old granddaughter. Fearing for her safety, the victim locked herself in a bedroom and called her mother. 

Responding officers located Saeteurn a short distance away from the residence and arrested him. The suspect is being held at the county jail on a $60,000 bail.
