Parolee Arrested For Attempting to Cash Fraudulent Check


An Elk Grove parolee was arrested yesterday after he allegedly attempted to cash a fraudulent check. 

According to Elk Grove Police, 23-year old Eric Grady Walker attempted to cash a fraudulent check at the Wells Fargo Bank on Bond Road. As he exited the bank, Walker was met by responding police officers. 


A records check revealed that Walker was a parolee at large and confirmed that the check was fraudulent.Walker was arrested and booked into the county jail where he has a $560,000 bail, but is ineligible because of parole violation.
