Ironically happens at ‘Safe Credit Union’

A woman making a transaction at the Safe Credit Union ATM on the 9600 block of was the victim of an armed robbery yesterday afternoon.

According to Elk Grove Police reports, the victim was in the process of finishing a transaction when an unknown Black male approached the victim’s vehicle from the passenger side. The suspect displayed a handgun through the partially roiled down front passenger window and demanded money.

Fearing for her safety, the victim complied and the gunman’s demands. The suspect them fled the area on foot. And the victim was not physically harmed.

The suspect was described as a Black male adult, 20’s, with black hair, brown eyes and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and unknown color jeans. There are no reported surveillance photos.
