Elk Grove Woman in Jail For Alleged Stabbing

An Elk Grove woman in custody today following an alleged domestic violence incident that included a stabbing.

According to Elk Grove Police, 30-year old Giang Bichngan Nelson was involved in a verbal argument on Sunday afternoon that escalated into a physical altercation. Nelson allegedly grabbed a pair of scissors and stabbed her vicitm in the arm resulting in a visible injury.

Nelson was arrested and booked into the county jail where she is being held on a $50,000 bail and faces felony assault and domestic violence charges.
