Elk Grove Police Arrest Probationer, Accused of Interference

Elk Grove Police arrested an Elk Grove man on Tuesday afternoon after he allegedly interfered with officers.

According to police reports, officers were dispatched to the 9300 block of Newington Way when 19-year old Jhoti Martinez McGraw arrived at the scene and allegedly interfered with proceedings. McGraw reportedly would not comply with instructions to leave the area and attempted to push past an officer.

Officers used control holds to take McGraw down to the ground and he continued to struggle but was eventually subdued. A records check revealed that McGraw was on probation. 

McGraw was arrested and booked into the county jail where he remains in custody on $20,000 bail.
