An Elk Grove man is in custody at the Sacramento County Jail after he was arrested on suspicion of perpetrating a  of domestic violence in front of a toddler. 
According to Elk Grove Police, 33-year old Eutimio Grimaldo was in an argument with his female victim that escalated into a physical altercation. During the altercation, Grimaldo allegedly grabbed his victim by the neck and pushed her against a wall, squeezed her neck, and slapped her in the face resulting in visible injuries. 
The victim's two-year-old son was present during the
altercation. Grimaldo was arrested and booked into the county jail where he remains in custody on a $70,000 bail and faces felony domestic violence and child endangerment charges.  The suspect will be arraigned tomorrow afternoon.
