A 16-year old male was arrested Saturday night after he allegedly burglarized a house in Elk Grove.
According to Elk Grove Police, officers were dispatched to the 5300 block of Meadow Way regarding an in-progress residential burglary. Witnesses saw the suspect fleeing the residence on foot and officers were able to locate and detain him.
The witness positively identified the juvenile as the person fleeing th house. The suspect was taken into custody then transported to juvenile hall.

Hope he learned his lesson.
Next time he might break into an occupied home and gets shot like those two thugs up on Arcade Boulevard in May.
