Three Elk Grove boys were arrested by police early Sunday night after an alleged car vandalism spree.
According to Elk Grove Police, the 11,12 and 13-year old boys were letting air out of car tires and throwing items at parked cars in the vicinity of the 3000 block of Riparian Drive. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found the boys and found the 13-year old in possession of a knife.
Officers searched the area and located five vehicles that had their vehicle tires slashed. A witness positively identified the 11 and 13-year old S-1 as being the suspects for vandalizing one vehicle.
Multiple witnesses were contacted and reported seeing the three suspects near each of the damaged vehicles. The suspects were taken into custody then transported to juvenile hall.
