An Elk Grove teenager who tried to grab-and-go with a tip jar at an Elk Grove Starbucks was arrested yesterday morning.
According to Elk Grove Police, the 15-year old male entered the Starbucks on the 5000 block of Laguna Boulevard, picked-up the tip jar, and fled the store. Responding officers located and detained the juvenile a short distance away.
The suspect was was positively identified as being responsible for the theft. A records check revealed he also had an active warrant.
The suspect was taken into custody then transported to juvenile hall.
