A man was robbed of his car at gunpoint early Monday morning in Elk Grove.
According to police reports, the 20-year old victim was approached by three unknown suspects in a parking lot on the 9500 block of Emerald Park Drive. Two of the suspect were armed with handguns and demanded victim's car keys, which was a car that belonged to his friend.
After getting the keys, the three suspects fled in the vehicle that was described as a 2006 BMW 325 license plate 5TIZ865. The three suspects were all wearing black sweatshirts with the hoods pulled tight around their faces.
Responding officers were unable to locate the vehicle and victim was was not injured.
