A routine traffic stop led to the apprehension of a Texas fugitive.
According to Elk Grove Police, 42-year old Kristina Annette Flournoy was stopped early Wednesday morning near Highway 99 and Laguna Blvd for a vehicle code violation. A records check revealed the suspect had an active warrant for her arrest from Dallas.
The suspect was arrested and taken to the county jail where she remains in custody awaiting extradition orders from the Dallas County Sheriff's Department.
