A car robbery victim who found his car on Friday morning helped Elk Grove Police apprehend a man also suspected of another car robbery.
According to police reports, a car robbery victim called police after spotting his car in a parking lot on the 8100 block of Sheldon Road. Police contacted 19-year old Walter Swenson of Elk Grove and 19-year old Justine Smolich who were both seated in the vehicle.
A search of Swenson led to the discovery of a key belong to another stolen car. Both suspects were arrested and taken to the county jail where they both remain in custody.
