Elk Grove Police arrested an Elk Grove mother Friday afternoon on suspicion of child abuse.
According to police reports, 28-year old Li Zhang was arrested on felony charges for Penal Code 273 D, corporal injury to a child. The suspect is being held at the county jail on $50,000 bail.
The children were put into protective custody with Children's Protective Services.
