A welfare check on a six-year old girl led to the arrest of two suspects Saturday afternoon.
According to Elk Grove Police, officers responded to a welfare check at the request of Child Protective Services on the 7700 block of Transition Way. The vicitm told police she was allegedly struck three times in the head by 28-year old Paul Archer.
A records check revealed that another person at the residences, 26-year old Destiny Bouyea had an active warrant for her arrests. Both suspects were arrested and taken to the county jail. CPS placed the child in protective custody.
