Gun Brandished During Elk Grove Domestic Violence Inncident

An Elk Grove man was arrested Thursday morning after he allegedly brandished a gun during a domestic violence incident.

According to Elk Grove Police Department reports, 48-year old Marv Jordan and his alleged victim were involved in an argument that escalated into a physical altercation. the suspect reportedly punched the victim's face with a closed fist, pushed the victim to the ground and struck the victim in the stomach with his knee.

The suspect then reportedly brandished a gun and made threats to physically injure the victim. The victim was able to leave the the residence and went to the police station to report the incident. 

Responding officers found the suspect at the residence and arrested him without incident. The suspect was transported to the county jail and the victim was issued an emergency protective order.
