An Elk Grove juvenile was arrested late last night after being found to be in possession of a loaded shotgun.
According to Elk Grove Police, the 17-year old male was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation near Rio Tejo way and Stathos Drive. A record search found that the suspect was driving on a suspended license.
An inventory search of the vehicle prior to the vehicle being towed led to the discovery of a loaded shotgun in the trunk. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to juvenile hall.
