The criminal trial of former Elk Grove City Council Member Mike Leary was delayed for several weeks this morning. A Sacramento County Superior Court judge granted the request to Leary's attorney William Portanova based on the recent release of a Fair Political Practices Commission report on campaign irregularities on Leary's 2008 reelection bid.
