Among the more significant arrests made yesterday by the Elk Grove Police Department involved a stolen car and embezzlement.
According to police reports, police officers stopped 27-year old Andrea Rasul of Sacramento on the 9600 block of Bruceville after she was seen driving a reported stolen car. The suspect was arrested and transferred to the county jail.
Police also arrested 39-year old Catherine Wright of Elk Grove on suspicion of embezzling her employer, the Boot Barn on East Stockton Boulevard, The suspect was transferred to the county jail.
