Elk Grove Police Arrest Two Parolee Shoplifters

Two Sacramento women were arrested Friday afternoon after they were suspected of shoplifting.

According to police reports, 37-year old Tamisha Johnson and 30-year old Monique Burtley were in the Kohl’s store on Calvine when loss prevention person store saw them shoplift merchandise. The suspects were detained and the police were contacted.

Responding officers found that Johnson and Burtley were on parole and a search led to the discovery of the stolen merchandise. Both suspects were arrested and transferred to the county jail.
