Elk Grove Teen Arrested, Charged With Battery

An Elk Grove teenager was arrested last night after he allegedly punched his victim in the face.

According to Elk Grove Police, the 17-year old suspect was in an argument with his victim that escalated to a physical confrontation. During the altercation the juvenile allegedly pushed the victim to the ground, punched the victim in the face, and then fled on foot.

While officers were at the scene, the suspect returned to the residence and was detained. The juvenile was taken into custody and transported to juvenile hall.
