Elk Grove Police made two arrests on Saturday in suspected domestic violence incidents.
The first arrest came early Saturday morning after 33-year old Veotis Wade of Elk Grove was in an dispute with his victim and prevented the victim from calling 911. As the argument continued, Wade allegedly grabbed a chair the victim was sitting on and pulled causing the victim to fall to the ground.
Wade then allegedly dragged the victim by the arm. Responding officers arrested Wade and the victim was granted an emergency protective order.
The second arrest came Saturday night when 31-year old Clint Harding of Elk Grove allegedly grabbed his victim around the throat. When the victim tried calling 911, Harding allegedly removed the phone from the wall preventing the victim from call for police assistance.
Responding officers arrested the suspect.
